I was introduced to pétanque by my parents when I was about 14 and started playing regularly in the Kent Pétanque League. I played for the Battle of Britain for a number of years until they folded. I have started playing again and joined the newly formed Bat & Ball team, where I am captain of the Winter League and Euro Cup squads. I also play in a lot of Sunday tournaments around Kent and the surrounding areas.

I learnt my pétanque in the early 80s at Gravesend to where I have returned after a spell at Hartley. I have served as a Regional Treasurer, Regional President and the VP Finance of the BPA, in which role I was instrumental in seeing through the reorganisation of our sport and the formation of the EPA in November 2004 when I was elected to the Management Committee on which I served through 2013. I was Secretary of the EPA and then a Board member of Pétanque England heavily involved in the Events Group until standing down in February 2021. I am looking forward to helping run the Kent League and the Region as your treasurer

I started playing boules in the 1980s and spent many years playing for the Battle of Britain, Gravesend. The team reached the highs of Division 4 but folded in 2006. I started playing again in 2013. The Bat and Ball, Gravesend, decided to build a second team and I am thoroughly enjoying playing with family and friends again. During this time we have won two promotions and the Summer and Winter Plate too. Most of all I have enjoyed making lots of new friends and now hope I can be part of a Management Committee which continues to develop and promote boules across Kent.

I started playing pétanque in the early 90s within the Thames Valley Region just in a local pub and got hooked. I'm now currently President for my Petanque Club in the Kent League and also playing secretary in the East Kent Costal League. I have been playing now for 20+ years and have had the opportunity to represent both Thames Valley & Kent at Regional Level, and represented England at Home Nations Twice, and played all over europe many times.

I first started playing playing petanque at Gravesend in 1989 for the Battle of Britain. I remained there until moving to the Bat & Ball public house in 1996. As a newly formed club we started in Division 6 but eventually worked our way up to Division 1 where currently I am captain of the Bat & Ball 1996 team. Additionally I have played for the club in the Winter league for several years. I also enjoy playing in KPA events and have represented Kent at inter regional level.

I started playing petanque in 2010 for Seal Petanque Club after seeing a "come and try" poster in the White Rock Inn where the club had not long relocated. I soon became a regular player for them in the league, I am also on the clubs committee and have captained the team for several years gaining back to back promotions. I have represented Kent in 1 Inter-regional competition. In 2018 I was asked to manage the Juniors for the Inter-regionals after my 9 year old daughter started showing lots of intrest in playing and joined the county juniors. Being involved with the juniors and aiding them in improving their skills and achieving their playing potential. From new comer to representing Kent and on to England is very rewarding.
Petanque has given me many new friends and much joy over the years. I'm really proud to be a part of it.. Even more so now that Iam able to share my experience with the Juniors.

I started playing when I was old enough to throw a boule as my parents and grandparents play. I play for Meadow PC and we have been lucky enough to represent at Eurocup. I am lucky enough to have represented regionally and nationally at all levels: Juniors, Espoires and Ladies. My greatest achievement would be winning a silver medal at the European doubles in Holland 2022.
